These Easy Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks are made using a refrigerated pre-made pizza dough, and are topped with garlic and mozzarella cheese for the ultimate side dish or appetizer.
Easy Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks
There are few things I love more than fresh baked garlic bread or breadsticks. As much as I would like to make them from scratch, I usually don’t have time for that.
TheseEasy Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks can be made in about 20 minutes from start to finish!
We love to serve these easy garlic breadsticks with our Slow Cooker Bolognese, Spinach Lasagna Rolls, Skinny Chicken Alfredo or our Spinach Artichoke Pizza.
Homemade Pizza Dough
If you don’t like the taste or idea of pre-made pizza dough, you could always make your own! This recipe would work perfectly to make these garlic breadsticks from scratch.
This pizza dough recipe is so easy to make and tastes absolutely amazing, so if you have a little more time on your hands we definitely recommend trying it!
How to make garlic breadsticks:
In my opinion, you can’t have pasta, pizza or salad without breadsticks. Luckily, these are so easy that you can make them anytime you need some cheesy, buttery carbs.
Start by preheating the oven to 425 degrees F. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and roll out the refrigerated pizza crust on the pan.
You could also cover the pan with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
Brush olive oil in a thin layer on the top of the rolled out pizza crust.
Sprinkle on shredded mozzarella cheese, minced garlic and Italian seasoning.
I have noticed that freshly shredded mozzarella melts so much better than pre-shredded cheese. If you want EXTRA cheesy breadsticks, use a few cups of freshly grated mozzarella.
Bake for 12-18 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges turn a golden brown. Be sure to check after 12 minutes to make sure they aren’t burning.
Cut into breadsticks and serve.
We love to serve these Easy Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks with marinara or alfredo sauce for dipping.

These look so good. The only thing I would do different is infuse the olive oil with the garlic and then brush it on.

I love all these recipes I'm finding on this blog, but they all have such low "reviews"?is there a way to see the reviews, or is it possible that people are accidentally rating them one star without even trying them?Like this one, for example. On the recipe's summary, it says 1 out of 5 stars based on 19 reviews. It would be great to hear feedback along with the starred reviews to see whether or not to trust them. I tend to depend on reviews when it comes to deciding which recipe to go with.

Hi Caitlin, our star rating system is not working. We have that on the list for our tech guys, may take a while. So don't go by the star rating system. :(
