Calling All Chocolate Lovers!
These simple yet delicious chocolate drop cookies are like having a bite of fudge. If you’re a chocolate lover, this cookie is for you!
When I was little, my mother used to make these cookies for my dance class whenever we had a treat night. They were always a huge hit! They’re one of my favorite cookies by far.

This recipe does make a small batch. It yields approximately twenty 3″ cookies. Using a small cookie scoop will get you to two dozen.
If you are feeding a crowd it’s best to do a double batch of cookies, but you will not need to double the frosting.
If you are home and looking for a quick and simple dessert that doesn’t overwhelm you with the quantity and guilt of eating lots of cookies, this is a perfect little recipe!

One thing I found to be tricky is keeping the sprinkles on top of the frosting. Sometimes, they roll right off because of the cookie’s dome shape, but this can easily be fixed by adding more milk to your frosting to make it gooey.
If you feel the frosting is already moist enough, try making the frosting as flat as possible on top.
