When growing Sweet ZZfrom seed, young plants will develop rapidly. Indoors, most can be switched from veg to bloom at around four weeks. Left unchecked, heights max out at around 140cm indoors and 200cm outdoors.

After 7–9 weeks of 12/12 lighting inside, SweetZZwill be ready to harvest. During that time, the majority of flowers will stack along the central stem to form a massive central cola with smaller buds lining the side branches. Individual buds have a dense feel with huge, resin-swollen calyxes popping with glistening shades of green and purple. To complete the picture, a mass of burnt-orange hairs encircle the frosty nuggets. You won't want to manicure these buds too much; even the smaller fans get stiff with resin. Sweet ZZmakes an excellent oil and concentrate strain.

Whether grown inside or out, Sweet ZZyields like a champ, with plenty of bag appeal. The fragrance starts to develop even before bloom, then intensifies as the flowering period progresses. Grape Ape's sweet softness is accented by the mild but pungent citrus essence of classic Grapefruit while the buds are on the branches.
