I’ve been going to X O Nails every two weeks for the past two years since I moved to Kinnelon, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else! Sophie, the owner, is incredibly warm and sweet and does an excellent job. I absolutely love getting gel nails here. Her assistant, Maria, does a great job with pedicures, too. Sophie has had her shop here in Butler for more than 20 years. Since it’s only Sophia and Maria working here, the salon always has a nice vibe with only two customers at a time. Appointments needed for nails. Support local!

Critical:Professionalism,QualityWe walked in as two people getting a full set. The woman spent almost 2 hours just doing my sisters nails and by that time, it was nearly 8 o’clock at night. Then, she said that she couldn’t paint my sisters nails, but had somebody else do it. They could not even do a simple marble design that I wanted, so instead they did a monochromatic color. There aren’t even a wide variety of colors either. I did not appreciate this. While the woman was painting my sisters nails, she began mine. Once again, she took her time, but it was getting late. She then kept telling me to not watch the TV, and to just watch her do my nails. If that was the case, then why is there a TV there in the first place? As time progressed, she then said I could not dry my nails at the salon because she wanted to go home. That is disrespectful and unprofessional. I do not understand what happened, but she then let me use the fan in the back to dry my nails for a few minutes. Overall, I would give them 2 stars, one for effort and the other for letting us come in. We walked in as two people getting a full set. The woman spent almost 2 hours just doing my sisters nails and by that time, it was nearly 8 o’clock at night. Then, she said that she couldn’t paint my sisters nails, but had somebody else do it. They could not even do a simple marble design that I wanted, so instead they did a monochromatic color. I’ve been going to a different salon for a little bit that I do really enjoy, but overpriced. Was in a crunch and found that XO Nails does a great promo, manicure and pedicure for $25.00. I couldn’t beat it. I went in and the owner Sophia was so nice. We chatted the entire time during my appointment(s). They were fast but detailed and so friendly. Will be coming here again.
